Cobra Single Leg Chain Sling Details

Made from grade 80 alloy steel, all cobra G80 chain and components meet the working load limit performance requirements of BS EN 818-2.

Single Leg Cobra Sling Configurations

Your chosen length of chain (up to 10 metres) will be attached to a Cobra G80 master link then your choice of loading hook type will be fitted to the other end.

Choose from;

• Clevis sling hook
• Clevis self locking hook
• Clevis 'C' hook
• Swivel eye self locking hook
• Shortening grab hook (eye type)

Bear in mind that the clevis type of fittings can be removed, thus making swapping out fittings to better suit your load easier; with the added benefit of being more cost effective than purchasing two different slings – simply purchase a different type of component with a clevis type fitting.

Eye type fittings are permanently fitted. Shortening hooks are fitted into the master link and are used to shorten the length of the chain, thus its better to choose the maximum length you are likely to need then use the shortening grab hooks to adjust the length of your lifting chains to suit your lift.
